The village resort of Aberporth becomes a hive of activity during the summer months. There are two sandy sheltered beaches with rock pools exposed at low tide. There are 2 pay car parks between the 2 beaches. During the school holidays there is normally a lifeguard service patrolling from Ceredigion's Beach Officer Lifeguard Service, as swimming is considered safe here. If you enjoy walking, there are circular walks from Aberporth and other walks along the Ceredigion Heritage Coastal Path.
