Lovely cottage. perfect place for family holidays. We've very much enjoyed our time, and the couple of days which we stayed wasn't enough to do everything we wanted. Very interesting to see real farm life and of course for kids!!!
Recommendations: Walking around the fields with lots of sheeps there, fishing, watching cows milking and seeing a lots of farm life.Julia from Berkshire - 18th April 2017
Very comfortable, laid back, friendly, and cosy.
The owners were very very kind and nothing seemed too much trouble. We enjoyed visiting Powis Castle and Llanrhaeder waterfallsTheresa and Family - 12th April 2016
Relaxing break. We used the property as a base to travel across North Wales. Park Hall Farm experience was a great day out for the kids. We also enjoyed a visit to Conwy Castle, it was good for exploringKay and Family - 3rd July 2015
Comfortable, spacious, lovely area, friendly helpful owner without being intrusiveCouple from Norfolk - 12th October 2014
First impression when arriving at farm is a bit 'rustic'. typical dairy farm yard, buildings and smells. The property was great and the owners very nice.
Great if staying with children as a viewing gallery to watch the cows being milked. Lovely walks in area.
Take a torch and a reflective jacket if walking dogs in the evening or dark. Beautiful area. Lots of places to walk. Visit Lake Bala and Vrwyny later in the day or not at weekends, it is very busy then, but well worth going on another day. Newtown is a nice market town, as is Welshpool. Llandiloes is quaint and there is The Minivera Arts Centre hosting quilts which is fastinating. Lovely food at The Cross Keys, about 5 miles north on the A495. A bit of a wait for the food as it is all cooked to order, well well worth the wait.
