Yr Hufenfa can be booked online by visiting Best of Wales – Yr Hufenfa With the visitor attractions at Cardigan Bay only 20 minutes drive away Yr Hufenfa is also a walkers paradise as in addition to having some excellent walks form the cottage itself there are also many organised walks arranged by volunteers of the Menter Group Llandysul a Phont Tyweli Ymlaen. These walks include :

June: Saturday 26th – Llandysul Food Festival Walk (10.30am)• Bus from Llandysul car park to Teifi Cheese Farm, walking back through pretty lanes for lunch at Food Festival in Llandysul (approx 4 ½ miles down hill)

July: Saturday 10th – Private Gardens Walk (10.30am – bring packed lunch)• Starting and finishing at Llandysul Canoe Centre with tea at end• Visiting two gardens: Jean Wilson’s garden, Cilgwynbach Farm, Pont Tyweli; and Glandwr, Pentrecwrt (approx 4 ½ miles)

August: Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, Sunday 22nd, – River & Walking Festival Walks• Friday – Guided history walk/talk around town (6pm) – Llandysul Local History Society. Meet at Llandysul Canoe Centre (approx 1 ½ hours)• Saturday – Maesycrugiau church/river walk (10.30am – bring packed lunch) – meet at Llandysul Canoe Centre, Dolen Teifi bus to Maesycrugiau village hall car park (approx 2 ½ miles)• Sunday – Cwmeudwy walk (10.30am) – meet at Llandysul Canoe Centre (approx 2 miles)September:Saturday 11th – Mansion & Mill Walk (1pm + tea)• Park in Capel Dewi village hall car park• Walk to Alltrodyn Mansion and then walk back to RockMill to see mill and woollen shop• Finishing at Capel Dewi village hall for tea (approx 3 ½ miles)October: Saturday 16th – Riverbank Family Walk (10.30am – lunch available option)• Meet and finish at Teifi Valley Railway, Henllan – with lunch at Railway Cafe as available option• Geoff Liles to walk/talk on Otters and other river wildlife along the River Teifi. Geoff runs The Otter Consultancy and conducts research on otters and other river wildlife (approx 2 miles)

November: Saturday 6th – Autumn Leaves Walk (10.30 – including soup and bread for lunch)• Meet at Llandysul car park. Riverside walk from Llandysul to Llanfair along the Teifi valley, with view of forest/woodland colours and leafy lanes• Ending with soup and bread at Llanfair Lodge B&B overlooking Teifi River – walk back along lanes (approx 4 miles) or Dolen Teifi bus back (approx 2 miles)

December: Saturday 11th – Santa Family Walk (10.30am)• Wear a Christmas hat!!!• Meet at Llandysul car park – starting with walk around Llandysul park, ending at The Power House for mince pies, lemonade & mulled wine with Santa, and making Christmas decorations with Linda (approx 1 mile)
