Description

Boasting far-reaching views of Moel Famau from the comfort of the private wood-fired hot tub, this wonderful wooden glamping pod on the corner of a quiet working farm is the perfect rural getaway. The open plan design provides a bright spacious living area while the curved ceiling and soft furnishings add a cosier touch. The functional kitchenette and shared use of a restored 1930's railway carriage with laundry facilities provide everything during your stay in the North Wales countryside. There is also a designated bike wash area and lock up for those making the most of the fantastic mountain biking this area has to offer.

Cook up a storm on the gas BBQ whilst admiring the beautiful landscape and gaze at the stars from the private courtyard on a clear night. The Red Lion Hotel is just 1 mile from the farm and comes highly recommended for its Indian cuisine and traditional pub food. Slightly further afield is the historic market town of Ruthin some 5 miles away where you'll find a fabulous array of boutique shops, local cafes and a lively modern arts scene. Popular attractions such a Zip World and Snowdonia National Park are around a 40-minute drive away.

Reviews

We fell so lucky as we was the only guests booked in for the whole weekend out of the 3 lodges. We literally only seen a person if we chose to go into the local village or out for a walk. So private and so peaceful, absolutely beautiful and will defiantly be going back. (Don’t eat food from the red lion down the lane. It was not a good experience)

Miss K,

Beautiful cabin and hot tub. Loved the furnishings. Great shower. Very attentive owner

Mrs D,

Nice warm friendly welcome from Angharad who was very helpful. Gorgeous cosy very clean pod with everything you need. Bottle of prosecco in fridge was a nice touch and the hot tub was perfect temperature for when we arrived, stunning views. Would highly recommend

Miss G,

Such a lovely relaxing holiday with extra few special touches like prosecco in fridge when arrive

Mrs P,

Great stay here at Corris. Angharad was great, really friendly and helpful when it came to providing extra towels and helping with the hot tub. Loved the view of the farm and being 100 yards from the sheep. Location was a short drive from Ruthin town, that last corner proved difficult due to how steep it was (BMW drivers beware). Few local attractions such as the prison and castle. We also visited Gwrych castle which was a 45 min drive however we got around there within 30-40 mins so would not recommend as was a bit boring.

Mr D,

Lovely hut in stunning location. A wonderful host. We had a plumbing issue that was fixed within the hour... On Christmas day! Thanks for the stay!

Mr S,
