Reviews

Lovely house in a little villiage between Aberdovey and Machynlleth. Had everything we needed. Thank you. The views from the windows are great. Had a lovely week exploring local area. (Which is very beautiful)

Mr W,

The cottage was wonderful, with everything you needed to make your holiday, beds were very comfortable. The views outside were lovely we even saw the farmer training his sheepdogs, basic supplies when we got there were an added bonus as we waited for our supermarket delivery,

Mrs G,

A lovely, bright, spacious and exceptionally well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. We hope to return and would have no hesitation in recommending it as a comfortable base for exploring the region.

Mrs R,

A large comfortable house that was fitted with all the equipment needed for a good holiday. Situated not far from the seaside town of Aberdovey which has a lovely beach. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. A good time was had by all of us.

Mrs S,

We had a lovely week here with our French friends.

Mrs H,

Fabulous house and lovely location.

Ms S,

Wonderful property and location. Garden was lovely to sit and spot wildlife. Even saw an Osprey. Scenery was amazing, and a quick easy walk down to local pub. Everything we needed for a special family holiday. The Home Owner was really helpful when we needed her help. Cannot recommend enough. We will be back very soon x

Mrs B,

The photos on the website are nice, but the cottage and surroundings are far more beautiful than we had imagined they would be! One of the nicest and cosiest cottages we have ever stayed in, and the owners were so accommodating and helpful - would love to return again!

Dr N,

The property is a lovely location in Pennal. It is ideally located to visit nearby villages/towns such as Machynlleth, Aberdyfi and Tal-y-Llyn. Fairbourne also offers a train and ferry service to Borth. It is also ideally suited if you wish to travel further out such as Lake Bala etc. There is also tavern Glan y Mor (Riverside) that is community owned and offers good food and drink. The area in general is also excellent for anyone interested in history, with Pennal being an excellent starting point, with it’s church St Peter Ad Vincula and others that have been built around it. The owners have also been excellent regarding communication or queries and keep the property to a high standard.

Mr B,

Really good house, clean with everything you need. Lovely views around. Great centre for exploring the area. Good wifi.

Mrs M,

The house is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and has wonderful views. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. I can only highly recommend this as a place to stay. If you are in this area between March and September, do go and visit the Dyfi Osprey Project - you will not be disappointed.

Mrs G,

We had a lovely week, knowing the area well. The Riverside pub in the village is well worth a visit. The views from the house are amazing.

Mr L,

Comfortable, roomy and well equipped.

Mr C,

Absolutely stunning, well equipped cottage. Our stay was very enjoyable and would definitely return

Mrs G,
