If you prefer the more relaxed approach, Bala Lake Railway offers a stunning steam-train ride along the lakeside, whilst nearby castles, market towns and a myriad of Snowdonia walks are all waiting to be discovered.

It's in a good location for Snowdon and surrounding area. Natural beauty on the doorstep. Street has plenty of restaurants and pubs, was a little noisy at night on the front. The house isn't as nice in real life as the pictures make it look, but it was comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms are nice. I did have higher expectations than what it was but would still recommend it to a group with dogs.
