Yr Efail is one of three converted outbuildings (see Y Beudy WAG430 and Ysgubor WAG431) in a fabulous and convenient location, between the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park and the stunning Isle of Anglesey. This rural location, with fantastic views, is between the village of Port Dinorwig (Felinheli) and the university city of Bangor. The town of Caernarfon, with its majestic castle, is 6 miles away, Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon, 5 miles and ZipWorld Velocity zip wire at Bethesda also 5 miles.
The cottage is all on one level and has been lovingly converted from a former outbuilding. The owners live close by and offer a warm welcome and lots of local information for guests. The spacious sitting room has a large fireplace with a wood burning stove (initial logs provided). There are comfortable leather sofas, a quality wood effect laminate floor, large flatscreen TV with DVD and WiFi and patio doors to the front seating area
The separate kitchen diner has a wooden table and chairs for four. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, washing machine, fridge freezer, filter coffee machine and slow cooker

There are lovely views of the mountains of Snowdonia from the front seating area. This is an enclosed hard surface area with plenty of parking

Thank you, We only stayed a few days and wish it could have been more. Beautiful area, cosy, comfortable cottage with plenty of space for our grandchildren to wonder.
The perfect get-away location for us. Really homely, warm and comfortable. Made excellent use of the fire in the evenings. A great base for a super holiday. Hope to be back!

Lovely cottage with stunning location and gorgeous views. Well equipped and warm, welcoming most. Lots of hidden treasures to explore and conveniently places to explore North Wales. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed it's stay too. Plenty for her to sniff and discover, Taking a dip into the Snowdon pools was a highlight!
Cottage is in great location or sightseeing. Recommend Snowdon, Newborough Beach on Anglesey, Caernarfon and Conwy castles. Cottage really well equipped. Home from Home Thank you for a lovely stay!

Quiet location with good views.
A very comfortable and peaceful place to stay. A very nice welcome pack from the owners, although we were sorry not to meet them. Lots to do and see in the area, including some lovely walks. Well organised by Wales Country Cottages. Would use them again.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location but within easy reach of the local sights and attractions. Comfortable beds, cosy bedding and great bath and shower. A home from home. The scenery in Wales is exceptional. Favourites were Llanberis and Snowdon Conwy and Llandudno.
