Reviews

Lovely old cottage, very comfortable. The views are stunning. Plenty to do in surrounding area.

Mrs F,

We are very pleased to be able to add our praise to the many positive reviews about Cwm Mawr. We had a fabulous week in this warm, comfortable and homely farmhouse. Thank you for the welcome pack and for providing such a lovely place to stay. Everything was in place to meet our needs in terms of cooking, keeping warm and having a good night's sleep! The location was perfect for exploring the mountains and gorgeous beaches nearby, though it was almost as good just staying at the farm. We would definitely recommend staying there.

Mrs O,

Another wonderful stay at Cwm Mawr. You never tire of that view. The house is comfortable and warm. We will be back next year.

Mrs N,

Fantastic cottage with spectacular views of the mountains and sea. Plenty of walks directly from the cottage and the beach and amenities are a short drive away. What a brilliant place to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. The hosts are lovely people and very helpful to ensure you have a wonderful stay.

Ms P,

Beautiful located cottage on the hill side with spectacular views over Porthmadog & surrounding area. The cottage was comfortable, warm & clean with access to local amenities & attractions a short drive away.

Mr S,

Warm (heating very efficient) and comfortable (especially beds!) despite the autumn winds and rain. Incredible views and a perfect spot for cloud watching. Lighting in the kitchen could do with some attention (but dim) and reading lights would be useful in lounge. Lovely “welcome basket” ….Thank you…. Will come again !

Mr E,
