Reviews

This is a beautiful property with the most wonderful owners. Though we were unprepared for how rural it is and the tough driving for those of us used to the city, the country setting is nothing short of amazing. It's close to Cardiff but feels a world away. And they have the most wonderful dogs, whom our two boys played with every day. This is a gem in the Welsh countryside. Dunraven Bay (about 30 minute drive) is a must. It's in the town of Southerdown, and is possibly the most beautiful beach we've ever seen; Cardiff Castle; the local town of Cowbridge for shops and a great kids play area; St. Fagan's Museum of Welsh Life is a must; Cardiff Bay for a lovely day of eating and strolling (and check out the Dr. Who Experience if you're a fan). We had a truly terrific holiday!Jen from Michigan, USA - 19th July 2016
Absolutely amazing. Peace and quiet.Family from Dinnington - 3rd July 2016
Fairly easy to find but in a quiet location, everything was clean and well presented, not far to the major roads around the area, so ideal if you want to be out of the centre of Cardiff. We only went into Cardiff as it was a short stay for the World half marathon championshipPaul from Nottingham - 30th March 2016
Our hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly and were on hand for anything we needed. The property was in an excellent location with beautiful surroundings. Cardiff is worth a visit especially Cardiff BayElizabeth from Australia - 29th July 2015
It was an amazing place/location and such friendly hosts/owners. Couldn't fault it, the owners of the lodge met our every need. Head for Cardiff for everything you need, there are 2 pubs in the village but unfortunately we didn't have chance to eat/drink in either as our days were full and busy.Lisa from Darlington - 2nd June 2015
