Reviews

Fully recommend this property and company for comfortable properties with all amenities. This location was rural and quiet yet 5 minutes away from shops and pubs. Immaculately clean and welcoming hosts. Loads to do in the area, The Mumbles has something for everyone. Mr Martin Bradley - 30th July 2018
Lovely location for our weekend. Fabulous welcome kids loved it. Would consider staying again xMs L Evans - 7th July 2018
Such a delightful place to stay, the welcome basket was full of treats and there were so many little extras which made the stay so effortless.Mrs Jo McCormick - 13th June 2018
We loved every minute of our two weeks spent at Ysgubor Tawe. This was our second trip there. It is so peaceful, fantastic scenery, lots of walking for the dogs, and a safe area for them to run as no stock on the vast acreage, the owner was very helpful and friendly. The welcome pack was much appreciated, fresh milk in the fridge, tea/coffee, and after a long 8 hour drive, the bottle of wine in the welcome pack was definitely appreciated that evening. We will definitely be returning.Sheila from Suffolk - 30th May 2018
A great property, heavenly for dogs! Extremely quiet (yet close to facilities in nearby village, such as supermarkets and village shops/ takeaways). Open the back door and there is a huge field bordered by mature trees, fabulous view, and at least 4 more fields/ meadows adjoining which are also on the owner's land that you can explore and walk the dog. Homely facilities, Jayne the owner very helpful and friendly. Loads of dog friendly beaches, with no seasonal restrictions, along the south Gower area. A visit to Rhossili Bay is a must, it is beautiful. Take your climbing shoes to scramble over the rocks to Worms Head for stunning scenery at low tide. In the other direction (also about an hour's drive) is Cardiff, a marvellous place. Head for Cardiff Bay. The Dan yr Ogof caves are impressive, definitely worth a visit and not too far. The Cardamon Indian restaurant/ takeaway in Pontadawe (5 min drive) is great.Mandy from Devon - 28th August 2017
Loved it, the owners were very accomadating to all our dogs and the added bonus of so many fields to be able to walk around was great. We enjoyed a visit to Mumbles and the "waterfall walk" is spectacular. Also try The Grill for a steakLucy - 10th August 2017
The property was stunning, to a very high standard, in a convenient location close to all amenities also providing peace and quiet. It was perfect for what we wanted close to the families and amenities.
Recommendations: There are many good pubs serving good quality food. A visit to near by Brecon and the Gower are a must. On rainy days there is a leisure centre and local indoor swimming pool close by.Robert from Singapore - 21st June 2017
Another fantastic time had by us all. A great place to just chill and relax.
Recommends: Oxwich beach. Lovely sandy beach, rock pools, close parking, toilets and cafe....dog friendly!
Emma from Derby - 4th June 2017
Lovely property, very quiet location with fantastic views. Wonderful walks to go on without having to drive any where, shops and supermarket near by. Everything was perfect thank you.Andrew from Wiltshire - 29th December 2016
