Reviews

Fabulous cottage with amazing views, everything you need for a relaxing stay. The family were lovely and their dogs loved their cuddles.

Mrs M,

Lovely cottage in a lovely spot. Made to feel very welcome by the owners and their dogs

Mrs H,

We had a lovely week in this well appointed property with the friendly owners nearby. The sauna and outside (warm) shower were a great bonus. The views are fabulous!

Mr B,

Ty Pair is an absolutely stunning holiday cottage, It is in first class condition, spotlessly clean and has everything you could ever need for a holiday. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is perfect!

Mr M,

Overall a great stay. Location had amazing sunset views and views of the sea. The owners were very friendly. Used the sauna, which was clean and well maintained. Property was comfortable and clean.

Mrs D,

Lovely, modern family run holiday house with sea views and surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Comes with a sauna and BBQ facilities. Lots to do in the surrounding area with our 2 young children. We had a fantastic holiday.

Dr R,

If I could give the property a 6 star rating I would. Anwen, Eifion and family ensured a very warm welcome (The bottle of wine & packet of waffles was a nice touch) The property is well laid out, spotlessly clean and comfortable with decent views. It is 0.3 of a mile up a one lane track off the main road (A487) and the sign for Porthmawr (Private Road) is indistinct and easily missed so needs clearer signage. It would help if in the travelling directions it mentioned that on coming out of the village of Llanon the turning is just before the bus stop (Or just after if coming southbound from Llanrhystud). This said we would have no hesitation in staying there again in the future.

Mr G,

The quality of the decoration the fixtures and fittings and the furnishings were perfect , the owners and family including dogs added to a wonderful holiday

Mrs Anita B,

Isolated area- need to use car to see sights. Only one average pub for average food if don't use car. BBQ old and rusty. No Scissors. Only a few hangars - not adequate. Bed comfort average. Privacy nil without closing all blinds. No blind on front door window near bathroom. Shower was very weak - No where to put shampoo etc. Smart TV was not connected to Wi Fi. - we had to contact owner to get going.

Mrs P T,

overall happy with the accommodation, owners were very friendly

Miss Sharon M,

Map

Set on a working farm, the cottage is semi-detached (adjoining 1 other Holiday Cottage) and is located above the village of Llanon near Aberaeron. Llanon is only a quarter of a mile away and has its own shingle beach and includes a pub, local shop and a takeaway.

Aberaeron with its harbour and great architecture is a great place to visit and includes several popular restaurants and local pubs. During the peak season, boat trips can be booked and also fresh fish can be purchased on the quayside.  There are a number of independent shops in Aberaeron, from small supermarkets and grocery stores, to chic home interior shops such as Seld with beautiful Welsh products.

The university town of Aberystwyth is only 11 miles away. With the National Library, beaches, pier, local shops, supermarkets and plenty of places to eat and drink it is certainly worth a visit. Wildlife, fishing and also dolphin watching boat trips can be booked at New Quay, only 12 miles away. This is one of the best areas of the UK for seeing dolphins in the wild, and adults and children alike will be amazed by these magnificent mammals.
